Over the past few years, we've tripled in size, now employing over 2,300 team members and more than 200 physicians and advanced practitioners. We're currently seeking a dedicated Audiologist to join our Speech & Audiology Department at our Galion location.
Position Overview
Responsible for administration and direct application of Audiology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician. Evaluates, plans, directs and treats all patients referred for Audiology treatments to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury. Assists patients to obtain maximum performance and function in society while learning to live a routine "normal" life within the constraints of their disability. Provides instruction on aspects of Audiology as necessary. Assists in coordinating the patient experience for Audiology evaluation and on an organizational basis.
Qualifications
Required:
  • Master's degree or Doctorate in Audiology.
  • Current State of Ohio Audiology license and department license to dispense hearing aids.
  • BLS certification or obtained within thirty (30) days of hire.
  • Performance of technical skills related to Audiology.
Preferred:
  • Certificate of competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
  • At least three years of clinical experience.
