We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations in New York. This is a Contract position suited for someone who enjoys creating order, communicating effectively, and keeping administrative tasks on track. The ideal candidate will provide front-office support, manage routine clerical work, and help maintain accurate records in a busy office environment.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome visitors and provide attentive front-desk support while ensuring a positive and organized office experience.
• Handle incoming phone calls, direct inquiries to the appropriate contacts, and relay messages accurately and promptly.
• Perform a variety of clerical duties such as filing, document preparation, scheduling support, and general office coordination.
• Enter, update, and maintain information in office records and databases with a high level of accuracy.
• Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks to help the team operate efficiently and meet business needs.
• Monitor office communications and respond to routine requests in a timely and courteous manner.
• Support reception activities by managing correspondence, greeting guests, and maintaining orderly common areas.• Prior experience in an administrative, office support, or receptionist role.
• Strong ability to manage inbound calls with professionalism and clear communication.
