Position : Contract Administrative Assistant

Location : Covington, GA

Duration : 12 Months Contract

Total Hours/week :40.00

1st Shift

Description:

Summary:

  • Medical Information Services strives to enhance Client reputation and the value of Client products by responding to medical and technical questions or requests for information from internal (i.e. sales, clinical specialists, customer care, quality and marketing) and external (i.e. health care professionals, payers, and patients ) regarding Client products. Additionally, the department works to provide relevant feedback to the Business Units that can impact the overall success of Client. The Contract Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handles departmental emails by entering them into the Salesforce database
  • Scans documents to create .pdf files
  • Works with MIS Manager and MIS Analysts to generate relevant reports
  • Handle calendar maintenance and set up meetings for MIS Manager
  • Assist with organizing the department library
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Proficient in the use of a personal computer with intermediate level of keyboarding skills.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Previous experience with
  • Salesforce is not required, but it will be used to perform job duties.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required in the areas of verbal and written communications,
  • excellent organizational skills, and professionalism.

Education and Experience:

  • High School education or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 yearsโ€™ experience as administrative assistant

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, business correspondence, and memos. Ability to write basic correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in a one-on-one or other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute ratios and percentages, and to draw and interpret basic line or bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands

  • Employee is required to sit, bend, stoop, use keyboard, see, talk, and hear. May occasionally lift objects up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
