About the Role
TransImpact is looking for a Contract Administrator Assistant with 2-4 years of experience to join our Legal team. We are looking for someone with SaaS experience (legal industry preferred), who is organized, has excellent written and verbal skills, and enjoys problem-solving. The Contract Administrator Assistant reports directly to the Director of Legal Affairs regarding the contract lifecycle management of both clients and vendors of a transportation spend management SaaS company. This position works directly with Sales, Product, Finance, and IT Teams as an internal support to assist in the contractual relationship with clients and vendors.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Include
  • Drafting, reviewing, analyzing, modifying, and negotiating client agreements, non-disclosure agreements, statement of work, and other contracts with the support of senior team members.
  • Experience in software, technology, and technology-related contract drafting and negotiating.
  • Understanding of privacy laws, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
  • Familiar with industry standards and best practices in SaaS and technology law.
  • Work with other teams, such as finance and operations, on contract compliance issues.
  • Contribute to the development of contract templates and the efficiency of the legal department.
  • Daily management of incoming legal requests/tickets to ensure timely response to the sales team.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure professionalism and accuracy in contracts.
  • Maintain legal files and compliance with proper execution protocol.
  • Basic understanding of contract terms and conditions.
  • Prioritize and manage fast-paced legal requests, and have the ability to interact with active sales team members to complete legal requests.
  • Use template agreements.
  • Obtain signatures via the e-signature platform.
  • Manage legal information in the CRM and document management software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, verbal, and written skills.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments, multitask, and adjust the daily schedule to meet internal and external client needs.
  • Job responsibilities and any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and support our organization's values.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree required. Paralegal training preferred.
  • 2-3 years of previous experience as a contract administrator or related position, preferably with a focus on SaaS products
  • Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot), contract management platforms (DocuWare), electronic signature technologies, and JIRA
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a global team
  • Experience in communicating with all levels of the organization.
  • Willing to train but requires an ability to work well in a corporate setting with high standards for professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
