This multifaceted role requires a candidate who excels not only in the editing room but also in front of the camera, embodying the brand's values and becoming a dynamic ambassador for our content.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Create, photograph and record engaging and informative content focused on airguns, airsoft, paintball, less-lethal personal protection products and optics.
  • Create content utilizing social media platforms to enhance brand presence.
  • Edit videos to create compelling and engaging content for various platforms.
  • Generate multiple clips from long-form videos to cater to diverse audiences.
  • Post edited content on different outlets and social media platforms.
  • Demonstrate creativity and passion in producing content.
  • Prioritize understanding and engaging the target audience effectively.
  • Proficient in both behind-the-scenes video acquisition, editing and on-camera presence.
  • Ability to articulate ideas, concepts, and messages effectively in on-camera appearances.
  • Comfortable representing the brand and engaging with consumers directly.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL SETS:
  • Proven experience as a content creator.
  • Experience in video and photo editing and content creation.
  • Genuine passion for helping people through creative content.
  • Proficiency in editing and posting content on various social media platforms.
  • Ability to adapt editing styles for each platform.
  • Ability to be on-time and adhere to work schedules.
  • Ability to type and communicate with proper grammar via email.
  • Highly organized, dependable, motivated.
  • Ability to work and communicate with a team and as an individual.
  • Knowledge of hunting and shooting sports are a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • This position operates in a clerical, office setting. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, digital cameras, and scanners.
  • Requires know-how in the handling of outdoor shooting sports goods.
  • Requires content development time outside of the office in the outdoors.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
  • This is largely a sedentary role; however, some standing, packing, moving, and carrying heavy weight/products is required. This would require the ability to lift product cases; bend or stand for an undetermined amount of time. The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time. It is required that the employee always maintain mental clarity.

TRAVEL:
  • This position may require travel for trade shows and other events from time to time.
