Salary Range: $150,000.00 To $200,000.00 Annually

The Vice President of Fire & Security Systems is a senior executive responsible for the strategic leadership, operational performance, and profitable growth of the company’s fire alarm, fire suppression, security, and life‑safety divisions. This role provides oversight across sales, operations, service, installation, compliance, and financial performance, ensuring adherence to all applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements while driving scalable growth and operational excellence.

The Vice President will work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to execute company strategy, improve margins, strengthen customer relationships, and build a high‑performance organization.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Growth

Develop and execute the strategic plan for the fire and security business units, aligned with overall company objectives.

Drive organic growth through new customer acquisition, cross‑selling, upselling, and expansion of service contracts and recurring revenue.

Evaluate and implement new markets, service offerings, and technologies to maintain competitive advantage.

Support M&A initiatives, including due diligence, integration, and post‑acquisition optimization.

Own full P&L responsibility for the fire and security divisions, including revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, and working capital.

Establish and monitor KPIs related to safety, productivity, backlog, service response time, job profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Ensure disciplined project management, scheduling, and resource allocation across installation and service operations.

Collaborate with finance to improve forecasting accuracy, pricing discipline, and cost controls.

Partner with sales leadership to set revenue targets, pricing strategies, and pipeline management processes.

Oversee estimating, proposal development, and contract negotiations for major projects and key accounts.

Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers, GCs, developers, property managers, AHJs, and municipal stakeholders.

Support long‑term service agreements and recurring revenue growth initiatives.

Compliance, Safety & Quality

Ensure full compliance with all applicable fire and life‑safety codes and standards, including NFPA, IFC, UL, FM, and local AHJ requirements.

Maintain oversight of licensing, certifications, inspections, testing, and documentation across all jurisdictions.

Champion a safety‑first culture and ensure adherence to company and regulatory safety policies.

Implement continuous improvement programs focused on quality, rework reduction, and operational consistency.

Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing leadership team across operations, sales, service, and administration.

Drive workforce planning, recruiting, training, and succession planning for critical roles.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional development.

Align compensation and incentive programs with performance and strategic goals.
