WHO WE ARE
CCS Fundraising is an international strategic fundraising firm that partners with nonprofits for transformational change. Since 1947, CCS has empowered many of the world's leading organizations across sectors to advance some of the most important causes in history. We plan, manage, and implement programs and initiatives that achieve fundraising goals and mission impact. This year, we were named one of Forbes' America's Best Management Consulting Firms 2026, based on recommendations from clients and consulting peers.

CCS provides tailored support to more than 700 nonprofit organizations annually. Headquartered in New York, the firm has over 600 professionals and 18 offices throughout the United States and Europe. Our people are our greatest strength. At CCS, you will join a diverse team of smart, passionate, and resourceful professionals who are driven by purpose and committed to performance.

CCS is entering an exciting new chapter of growth, with continued investments in marketing, business intelligence, technology, and innovative solutions designed to help nonprofit organizations maximize their impact. As part of this evolution, the firm recently established the role of Chief Growth Officer to accelerate growth initiatives and strengthen collaboration across its regional and functional teams. CCS is also expanding its technology and analytics capabilities, including the development of new solutions that help nonprofit organizations leverage data, insights, and technology more effectively. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to delivering the strategic partnership, expertise, and results that have made CCS a trusted advisor to nonprofit organizations for nearly eight decades.

CULTURE

CCS is a deeply mission-driven firm whose people are passionate about serving the nonprofit sector. Our culture values client partnership, mentorship, accountability, and impact. Employees actively support the communities they serve through board leadership, volunteerism, and pro bono work, and all employees receive paid volunteer time annually. As CCS continues to grow, we are building upon this strong foundation with an increased focus on innovation, performance, and accountability while remaining committed to the mission-first values that have defined our success.

UNDERSTANDING THE ROLE
CCS Fundraising is seeking a Content Manager to join our Growth Center of Excellence (COE) team at a pivotal moment of growth for the firm. This role sits at the intersection of content and commerce, producing the written materials that equip our business development professionals to identify, engage, and convert prospective nonprofit clients.

You will work side-by-side with another talented content writer on the team and partner closely with colleagues in the Growth COE, Business Intelligence COE, and regional teams to develop the content that drives pipeline activity. The ideal candidate is a skilled, versatile writer who is equally comfortable producing a compelling sector sales pitch and a polished viewbook, and who finds deep satisfaction in seeing their work directly enable a business outcome.

This is a content production and content partnership role: requiring someone who can move quickly, manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborate humbly and professionally with subject matter experts across the firm, and consistently deliver high-quality written materials that serve our sales and growth teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Enablement Content

  • Develop and maintain a library of sales-ready content assets, including: talking points and objection-handling guides, service and sector sales pages, viewbooks and pitch decks, go-to-market resources and activation guides, prospect packages and customized outreach materials
  • Collaborate with Growth COE colleagues and regional teams to identify content gaps and prioritize production accordingly
  • Translate complex CCS capabilities, sector expertise, and data insights into clear, compelling narratives tailored to specific prospect audiences
  • Write and refine sector analysis documents and competitive positioning materials that arm BD professionals with differentiated messaging
  • Produce and update service-line and sector-specific sales collateral as CCS’s offerings and market positioning evolve

Content Production & Project Management

  • Own multiple concurrent content projects from brief to final delivery, with strong attention to deadlines and stakeholder alignment
  • Partner with the Corporate Graphic Designer to develop polished, on-brand final assets
  • Manage routing, review cycles, and approvals with internal stakeholders efficiently and professionally
  • Maintain organized content repositories and version control so materials are always current and accessible to the teams who need them

Brand & Thought Leadership

  • Write and edit a consistent cadence of external content—articles, case studies, and thought leadership—to maintain CCS’s market-facing voice and credibility
  • Contribute to flagship publications (e.g., Philanthropic Landscape, Philanthropy Pulse Report)
  • Ensure all written materials—internal and external—reflect the CCS brand voice and adhere to established editorial standards

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build strong, trust-based working relationships with colleagues across the firm, within regional teams and internal COEs
  • Conduct interviews and briefings with subject matter experts to source content, handling stakeholder feedback with professionalism and grace
  • Coordinate with the Strategic Events team on event-related content needs, including program copy, speaker materials, and post-event follow-up assets

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional writing experience in content marketing, strategic communications, professional services, or a related field; experience producing sales or business development materials strongly preferred
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills across a wide range of formats and tones—from crisp talking points to polished long-form collateral
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with minimal supervision
  • A collaborative, service-oriented approach to working with internal stakeholders; the ability to receive and incorporate feedback with professionalism and without ego
  • Experience working within or alongside sales, business development, or growth functions is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with the nonprofit sector, fundraising, or philanthropy is a plus but not required
  • A bias toward action, a high standard for quality, and a genuine interest in seeing content work

CCS offers competitive benefits, a dynamic training program, resources, career advancement, mentoring, and networking opportunities. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and strongly encourage a diverse pool of candidates to apply.
