Do you have a passion for storytelling, content strategy, and building meaningful connections through digital channels? Join our team as a Social Media & Content Strategist and play a key role in shaping the voice of Oregon State Credit Union while creating content that engages members, strengthens our brand, and supports organizational growth.

As a Social Media & Content Strategist, you will develop and continually innovate content and social media strategies that drive member engagement, enhance our online reputation, and support new member acquisition. You’ll manage content across a variety of channels including social media, website content, blogs, educational resources, email communications, direct mail, and branch marketing support while ensuring alignment with brand standards and the Credit Union’s goals and objectives.

What you will need to be successful:

  • Content Strategy & Storytelling: Proven ability to develop and execute content marketing strategies that align with organizational goals and resonate with target audiences. Skilled at creating compelling content that educates, informs, and inspires engagement across multiple channels.
  • Social Media & Online Reputation Management: Demonstrated expertise managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, driving audience growth, and monitoring performance. Experience managing online reviews, responding to member feedback, and protecting and enhancing brand reputation through proactive engagement strategies.
  • Content Creation & Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated strength in copywriting, long-form content development, educational content creation, and multimedia storytelling. Ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and channels while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
  • Analytics & Continuous Improvement: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to measure content and social media performance, identify trends, and use insights to optimize strategies and improve results. Comfortable making recommendations based on data and member feedback.
  • Collaboration & Project Management: Highly collaborative and organized professional with the ability to manage multiple priorities, develop content calendars, coordinate with stakeholders and external partners, and successfully execute projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience & Education: At least three years of experience developing and implementing content and social media strategies required. Experience creating multimedia content, managing digital channels, and working with content management or marketing automation platforms is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, e-Commerce, or a related field or equivalent experience is required.
