This role sits at the intersection of content engineering, information architecture, learning technology, and content operations.

The ideal candidate has experience working with structured content models, metadata frameworks, content repositories, version control systems, and automation workflows. This is not a traditional instructional design role; rather, it focuses on building and maintaining scalable content systems that support intelligent content delivery, AI-enabled learning experiences, and content reuse at scale.

What You'll Do

Content Modeling & Transformation

  • Apply and populate structured content models for technical enablement assets, including learning objectives, conceptual content, procedures, reference materials, and assessments.
  • Work within established schemas, taxonomies, metadata frameworks, and content governance standards to ensure content is discoverable, reusable, and scalable.
  • Analyze, deconstruct, and transform source materials from technical documentation, presentations, and SME input into modular content components.
  • Convert presentation-based content (Keynote, PowerPoint, and similar formats) into learning assets, videos, and structured content deliverables.
  • Create and edit supporting visual assets, including screenshots, image cropping, and basic image manipulation.
  • Support AI-assisted media production workflows, including the integration of AI-generated voiceover narration where appropriate.

Content Systems & Workflow Execution

  • Prepare, validate, and load structured content into enterprise content and learning platforms.
  • Execute content quality assurance processes using established standards, validation rules, and automation workflows.
  • Use scripting, command-line tools, and workflow automation techniques to support content publishing and maintenance.
  • Work with Markdown-based content and documentation workflows.
  • Utilize GitHub and version control processes to manage content revisions, publishing workflows, and collaborative development efforts.
  • Support API-driven content delivery environments and content lifecycle management processes.
  • Execute and monitor localization workflows, partnering with vendors and internal teams to support scalable translation and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams using technical tools, repositories, and development workflows.

Collaboration & Technical Support

  • Partner with content strategists, SMEs, engineers, program managers, and learning technology teams to support content systems and publishing workflows.
  • Serve as a resource for structured authoring, content modeling, metadata, and taxonomy best practices.
  • Collaborate with AI and learning innovation teams to prepare content assets that support intelligent search, adaptive learning, personalization, and next-generation learning experiences.
  • Help establish and maintain content standards that improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability across learning programs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3โ€“5 years of experience in content engineering, information architecture, technical content management, content operations, learning technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven experience working with structured content models, component-based authoring, and content schemas.
  • Strong understanding of taxonomy design, metadata management, and content governance principles.
  • Experience working with Markdown and Git-based version control workflows (GitHub preferred).
  • Experience with API-driven content delivery systems and command-line interfaces.
  • Experience transforming presentation content into digital learning, technical communication, or enablement assets.
  • Ability to work comfortably within technical environments that include engineering teams, repositories, and development workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical information into scalable structured content systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to content quality and user experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technical Communication, Information Science, Library & Information Science, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting technical training, certification, enablement, or learning ecosystems.
  • Experience with Apple Keynote and Xcode environments.
  • Experience creating video-based learning assets from presentation content.
  • Experience with AI-assisted content production tools, including AI-generated voiceovers and media enhancement workflows.
  • Experience with image editing, screenshot creation, and visual asset preparation.
  • Experience supporting localization and translation workflows.
  • Experience with scripting and workflow automation tools.
  • Familiarity with search, recommendation, personalization, adaptive learning, or AI-enabled content delivery platforms.
  • Understanding of enterprise-scale technology, device, or platform ecosystems.
