This role partners closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineering, and Design to embed content production into the delivery lifecycle, ensuring documentation and in-app help are ready at launch, not weeks after. The Senior Product Content Engineer also coaches the Product Content Engineer on pipeline usage, editorial standards, and technical writing craft.

This role works under the direction of the Director, Product Content & Digital Adoption, who owns the overall content strategy, team operating model, and AI pipeline architecture. The Senior Content Engineer translates that strategy into production-quality output and helps refine the systems that make it possible.

  • Apply editorialexpertiseto review, refine, and approve AI-generated content for accuracy, voice, and completeness.
  • Continuously improve pipeline quality by analyzing output patterns, identifyingfailure modes, and refining prompts.
  • Evaluate new AI tools, models, and capabilities and recommend integration into existing workflows.
  • Partner with the Director to expand AI pipeline coverage tonew contenttypes and product areas.

  • Ensure all content is consistent in voice, structure, and quality across the portfolio, following standards set by the Director.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Delivery Integration

  • Embed into product delivery workflows to capture content requirements early in the development lifecycle.
  • Partner with Product Owners to extract story-level detail for documentation andhelpcontent.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Adoption Specialist to ensure written content and in-app guides are complementary and consistent.
  • Work with the Director to define and refine content standards, style guides, and quality benchmarks.
  • Coach and support the Product Content Engineer on pipeline usage, editorial standards, and technical writing craft.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 5 to 7+ years of technical writing, content engineering, or product documentation experience in SaaS or software environments.
  • Demonstrated experience building AI-powered content workflows using LLMs, prompt engineering, and automation tools.

Interview Integrity & Use of AI

We value authenticity, expertise, and real-time problem solving during our interview process. Candidates are expected torepresenttheir own knowledge, experience, and thinking without the use of AI-assisted tools during interviews.

The use of any AI tools during interviews, including but not limited to real-time scripting, recording, transcription, response generation, or coaching tools, isstrictly prohibited. This applies to phone, video, in-person, and technical or case-based interviews.

While we strongly value candidates who understand how to use AI tools effectively and responsibly, and this role specifically requires deep AI fluency, interviews must reflect the candidate's own abilities and perspectives. Any candidate found to be using AI-assisted tools during the interview process will beimmediatelydisqualified from consideration.
