Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Content Marketing Manager to join our Observability Demand Generation team. As a Content Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for supporting campaigns and demand generation activities to support new business acquisition by writing thoughtful content that drives brand awareness, engagement, lead acquisition, pipeline creation. If you have a knack for translating complex topics into engaging content that strengthens our relationships with new and existing customers, then we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Your primary responsibilities will include copywriting various types of marketing content and writing brand-level copy for banner ads, website landing pages, and much more.
  • Oversee and manage the prospect content journey for SolarWinds Observability, including, ensuring each stage of the journey has the right content aligned to ICPs and personas to move buyers from awareness to consideration to closed won
  • Manage the content calendar for the Observability new logo Demand Generation team.
  • Creates compelling content (email, PPC, event copy, landing pages and more) to support full-funnel new business acquisition campaigns across various platforms
  • Build a repeatable content repurposing framework that extends the life of pillar assets, turning benchmark reports, webinars, and major campaigns into sustained streams of derivative content
  • Develop content series and editorial calendars that balance evergreen educational content with timely commentary on market shifts, observability and AI developments
  • Leverage generative AI tools to assist in content creation and translations
  • Align messaging of demand gen content with company best practices, personas, and overall brand guidelines
  • Researches and recommends personalized content opportunities for new or existing customer segments
  • Reviews and edits written content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, punctuation, and spelling, ensuring adherence to our company's style and brand guidelines
  • Conduct thorough fact-checking and research to ensure accuracy and credibility of content
  • Fluency in SEO, AEO, and content distribution strategies, with a strong grasp of how algorithms and search behavior are evolving
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and external agencies to ensure content is aligned with marketing campaigns and product launches
  • Monitors and analyzes content performance metrics, using data-driven insights to optimize our content strategy and improve KPIs
  • Stays updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices to continuously improve content effectiveness and relevance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a copywriter, digital focus a plus
  • Proven experience as a writer, Content Marketing Manager or similar role in a B2B or B2C environment
  • Familiarity with Generative AI tools for scalable content creation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Understanding of SEO and digital content optimization with a familiar of SEO tools (ahrefs, SEMrush, etc)
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), marketing automation tools and project management software (like Asana) a plus
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
