Leveraging data-driven strategies and deep industry expertise, we connect top talent with organizations to optimize workforce management and engagement. We are seeking a Digital Political Content Creator to join our team in Edison, NJ, supporting the communications and branding efforts of Democratic candidates and committees across Middlesex County and beyond.
This role is pivotal in shaping the digital presence and messaging for local and countywide campaigns. You will collaborate closely with campaign teams, consultants, and leadership to amplify key messages and events, ensuring consistent branding and impactful content across all digital platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Manage and execute online branding and messaging across digital channels
  • Oversee party social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and publishing
  • Create original static, animated, and video content tailored to campaign needs
  • Write concise, on-message copy for posts, graphics, and digital ads
  • Support broader communications strategy and messaging priorities countywide and alongside local and legislative campaigns
  • Maintain consistent branding, tone, and messaging across all platforms
  • Provide real-time event coverage (live-posting) for events, conventions, and Election Day
  • Promote Democratic candidates, elected officials, caucuses, and committees
  • Develop branding toolkits, graphics, and messaging guidance for local campaigns
  • Coordinate with campaigns and consultants to amplify key messages and events
  • Assist with photography, video capture, and content archiving
  • Draft and edit digital statements, email blasts, and website updates
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support communications and campaign objectives

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing or related field
  • Hands-on experience creating and editing video content for digital and social channels
  • Proficiency with Canva and CapCut for graphic and video content creation
  • Experience managing content and campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, and YouTube
  • Experience with Facebook Ads (Meta Ads), WordPress, and Mailchimp
  • Working knowledge of local politics in New Jersey and experience creating digital content for Democratic candidates, committees, or progressive political organizations
  • Professional fluency in English
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Able to travel statewide within New Jersey for events and out-of-office content capture
  • Has reliable transportation and access to a laptop and cellphone for work
  • Able to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends
