Digital Marketing & Distribution Manager

DDM GROUP LLC

Atlanta, GA

Full-time

Posted 15 days ago

Job description

DDM Group has an immediate opening for a Digital Marketing & Distribution Manager to lead growth strategies across our three digital properties: AtlantaBlackStar.com, Finurah.com, and TheShadowLeague.com.

This role sits at the intersection of organic audience growth, content distribution, and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker who finds unconventional pathways to expand reach, drive discovery, and cultivate loyalty among our audience at scale.

Core Responsibilities

Distribution & Partnerships

  • Identify, develop, and manage syndication and distribution partnerships with platforms, publishers, and media organizations that extend DDM's reach
  • Cultivate relationships with emerging and established platforms to secure distribution opportunities across newsletters, video, and editorial content
  • Evaluate and negotiate partnerships that drive audience acquisition and brand visibility across DDM's portfolio
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and identify where DDM has distribution gaps or untapped opportunities

Audience & Newsletter Growth

  • Own and drive subscriber acquisition strategy across the newsletter, Substack, and emerging owned channels
  • Lead newsletter audience growth including funnel development, engagement optimization, and monetization in collaboration with ad sales
  • Develop audience segmentation strategies that deepen loyalty, increase return visits, and move casual readers toward habitual engagement across all three properties

Social & Community Engagement

  • Develop and execute platform-specific strategies across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Reddit, Threads, and emerging platforms
  • Build community on each platform — not just distribute content
  • Use data and performance analytics to identify content opportunities, optimize organic reach, and inform editorial strategy
  • Oversee content distribution and posting cadence across all platforms in collaboration with editorial and video teams

Reporting & Operations

  • Manage budget for platform tools and operational needs in collaboration with the VP
  • Track and report on performance metrics across distribution, social, and newsletter channels
  • Collaborate with sales, editorial, and external agency partners on audience goals tied to sponsorship and direct deal commitments
