About the team:
  • Candidates will join an 80+ person UX organization consisting of kind and talented product designers, content designers, and UX developers.

About this role:
  • Join client's UX Product Design team as a UX Content Designer supporting the modernization of client's primary sales tools and experiences for independent agents and sales call center representatives.
  • Candidates will provide dedicated content design support to create best-in-class digital tools for power users, aimed at increasing agent and rep efficiency, improving satisfaction, and reducing expenses and tech costs.
  • Candidates will also benefit from the support of client's content community of practice, where candidates can exchange ideas and learn from other content design practitioners.
  • Candidates will experience a degree of autonomy as candidates support individual product team(s), while also being a part of a mature UX team collaborating with product designers and user researchers.
  • In this role candidates will work with business, engineering, and product owners to understand the business vision and objectives and collaborate daily to deliver content solutions that meet user needs and business goals.

In this role, Candidates will:
  • Work in an agile environment.
  • Candidates will partner closely with product owners, product designers, and engineers, as well as other content designers, marketers, analysts, and researchers.
  • Identify content opportunities.
  • Candidates will use content design and strategy methods to find ways to improve the user experience through information architecture and the use of language.
  • Write concise, effective content.
  • Candidates' writing will adhere to guidelines for tone and voice, follow established standards and use language best practices for the given channel/medium.
  • Continuously seek and integrate user feedback.
  • Candidates will evaluate UX effectiveness and determine where and how to optimize content.
  • Coordinate across multiple projects and workstreams.
  • Candidates will learn a complex product ecosystem and collaborate with other teams to ensure a seamless experience for the user.

This role might be for candidates if:
  • Candidates have a Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Candidates have a strong attention for detail and enjoy working collaboratively on large projects while giving and taking feedback from both junior and senior design partners
  • Candidates have experience working on design teams with a proven track record of successfully delivering content for internal-facing digital applications
  • Candidates have supported multiple agile software engineering teams in a scrum methodology environment
  • Candidates know how to employ content design and strategy methods and tools like content audits, competitive assessments, quantitative analysis, design thinking exercises, user research, persona development, etc.
  • Candidates are analytical, and candidates love to synthesize complex information
  • Candidates have a portfolio of written work that demonstrates creativity, problem solving, business impact, and results
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
