Job description

CONNECTIVE Agency is an integrated marketing and communications agency based in Dallas, Texas and we’re looking for a UX/UI designer to join our team.

Our clients are leaders in the education, government agency, health care, professional services, manufacturing, non-profit, and technology sectors. We specialize in audience education and engagement strategies across the channels that matter most to achieving our clients’ goals.

We're looking for a UX Designer who is passionate about creating intuitive digital experiences and solving complex challenges through thoughtful design. This role will help evolve a large-scale web application while also contributing to website and digital experience projects, requiring someone who enjoys untangling complex workflows, organizing information, understanding user needs, and translating business goals into user-centered solutions.

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have an acute focus on detail and a relentless commitment to quality while delivering projects on time.

What You'll Work On

No two weeks look the same here. Designers at CONNECTIVE work across a wide range of projects, including:

  • Design user-centered websites, portals, and web applications
  • Simplify complex workflows and translate requirements into intuitive user experiences
  • Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis
  • Create sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and information architecture
  • Design accessible interfaces, component libraries, and scalable design systems
  • Assist with user story development and documentation
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation and user experience continuity
  • Present and defend design recommendations to clients and internal teams

We're Likely a Good Fit If You

  • Enjoy solving complex user problems, not just designing screens
  • Care deeply about creating intuitive, accessible digital experiences
  • Are curious, collaborative, and open to feedback
  • Have a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Enjoy balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
  • Are excited to work on both large-scale digital products and website projects across a variety of industries

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Graphic Design, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of professional UX design experience
  • Strong proficiency in Figma and modern UX design tools
  • Experience designing websites, portals, applications, or other digital products
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility, information architecture, and design systems
  • Ability to work both independently and on a team
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Why Designers Like Working Here

Designers at CONNECTIVE work across industries and mediums while collaborating with an experienced, multidisciplinary team. Our web projects range from large-scale portals and digital applications to custom websites, landing pages, email campaigns, and other digital experiences.

You'll gain experience quickly, contribute meaningful ideas, and see your work make an impact for organizations that shape businesses and communities.
