Job description

Chase Auto is a leader in auto financing, with over $85 billion in assets and partnerships with 75% of U.S. franchised automotive dealers. As part of the JPMorganChase franchise, we serve vehicle manufacturers, auto dealers, and consumers with a suite of financial products and services-from retail lending and captive financing to commercial solutions such as floorplan products and treasury services (deposits, cash management, and payment processing).

As the Event Marketing Vice President within Chase Auto, you will be responsible for developing and delivering strategic event and experiential marketing programs that deepen relationships across the auto industry and drive meaningful client and prospect engagement. You will lead end-to-end event planning and execution, partnering closely with Chase Auto Marketing Strategy Leads; Private Label Captive Finance brand managers; OEM auto partners; xLOB partners; and vendors to deliver integrated programs aligned to business goals. The VP also owns measurement/ROI, executive-ready reporting, and adherence to required policies, procedures, and controls.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver strategic event and experiential programs that drive meaningful interactions with clients and prospects and support business growth across events of various sizes and formats (in-person and virtual).
  • Own end-to-end event delivery, where applicable, including ideation, plan development, agenda creation, content development, speaker sourcing and readiness, logistics, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up.
  • Serve as the marketing coverage lead for Auto Marketing events, supporting local/regional initiatives and large-scale/national programs as needed.
  • Coordinate integrated workstreams across creative/content, event operations, vendor management, and execution to deliver a seamless, high-quality program experience.
  • Manage vendor, agency, and venue relationships, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting support, performance management, and post-event evaluation to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Track and manage event budgets with ongoing monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting; optimize spend and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with internal compliance/controls and required review processes to ensure all activities adhere to applicable policies and procedures (e.g., ad review tools and Legal & Compliance reviews).
  • Own event technology execution (e.g., RSVP and virtual event platforms) and ensure alignment with marketing and communication channels for a seamless attendee experience.
  • Develop post-event follow-up strategies (communications, feedback collection, lead/next-step coordination) and ensure timely pre- and post-event reporting to stakeholders.
  • Support risk assessments, contingency planning, and on-site issue resolution to protect the customer experience and business outcomes.
  • Stay current on experiential/event trends and emerging technologies; recommend enhancements that improve engagement and executional excellence.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree required; degree in communications, hospitality, marketing, business.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in event marketing/experiential marketing, event strategy and execution, marketing, and/or project management.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent, high-priority initiatives in a dynamic environment with limited oversight; strong attention to detail and execution quality.
  • Strong stakeholder and partner management skills; excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication; comfort working with senior/executive leadership.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, integrating multiple workstreams and managing feedback from diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills
  • CMP/PMP or similar certification. 
  • Luxury brand experience. 
  • Auto industry and/or financial services experience
  • Flexibility to support events outside standard business hours as needed.
  • Travel required 75% of the time.
