Training Content Developer

Department: Human Resources

Location: Lakeland, FL (Hybrid)

Overview

Saddle Creek has a continued focus on developing and growing associates. There is an increased need for innovative and engaging learning and development solutions to support associates and the growth of the company. The Content Developer will play a vital role in the development of new learning experiences for our associates to include eLearning, instructor-led (in person and virtual) materials, and other resources as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging, professional, and impactful courses using Microsoft Office, Articulate, and other authoring software
  • Develop performance support and learning materials, such as facilitator guides and job aids to assist with long-term behavior change
  • Keep up with trends and look for ways to use best practices when developing learning experiences and materials
  • Build relationships with subject matter experts, at all levels, throughout the development process
  • Support the Learning and Development team with other tasks to support the business, as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong writing skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Works well independently
  • Experience with eLearning development software
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to show work samples of previous development experience
  • Ability to travel, as needed (less than 10%)
  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, psychology, technical writing, or a related discipline strongly preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED is required
