Job description

JOB TITLE:          PROPOSAL COORDINATOR / MARKETING COORDINATOR

REPORTS TO:     DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

 

Position Summary:

At Pepper Construction, marketing plays a critical role in how we tell our story, strengthen our brand and pursue new opportunities. We’re looking for a marketing professional with one to three years of experience to lead proposal development, design layouts, internal and external communications and promotional materials. The ideal candidate combines strong design and writing skills with strategic thinking, attention to detail and a collaborative approach, creating compelling content that helps position Pepper for continued success.

 

What you will be doing:

  • The creation of proposals, qualifications and marketing materials with strategy, writing, design and production.
  • Develop and coordinate project interview presentations and materials.
  • Develop and update marketing materials (brochures, resumes and project cards).
  • Collaborate with project teams to document active and completed projects and develop content for proposals, case studies, brochures, and the company website.
  • Develop project overviews, case studies, e-blasts, social media content, project announcements, awards submissions and survey responses as needed.
  • Managing and updating our marketing database.
  • Assist with the coordination of project and staff photoshoots to ensure our visuals shine.
  • Design and produce jobsite signage, advertisements, website and blog content, event invitations, internal video boards and other graphic marketing materials as needed.
  • Produce, edit and optimize video content for use across social media, the company website and proposal submissions.
  • Support tradeshows with creative and booth setup.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
  • 2+ years’ relevant experience in the A/E/C industry (preferred).
    • More tenured candidates could be considered for a Senior Proposal/Marketing Coordinator title 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Strong writing, design and organizational skills. You’re a pro at both layout and storytelling (AP style).
  • Bonus points for experience with video editing and photography (we love a good camera moment).
  • A go-getter attitude with the ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for making work fun.
  • Occasional local job site visits (because sometimes, you just have to see the magic in action!).
