Position Overview:

The Digital Product Content Associate is responsible for end-to-end digital content strategy and execution for a portfolio of North American brands. This role drives best-in-class product representation across e-commerce retailers by aligning content optimization, performance insights, and cross-functional activation.

The Associate is the subject matter expert to ensure content accuracy, consistency, and discoverability across e-commerce channels. This role serves as the connective link between product marketing, digital shelf execution, and brand activation. The Associate influences prioritization, drives continuous improvement, and contributes to enterprise digital shelf transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Shelf Content Management & Execution: Own the end-to-end process for assigned brands including packaging refreshes, new product setup, content updates, and quality assurance. Ensure all product content meets retailer and internal standards for accuracy, compliance, and SEO optimization.
  • Brand Partnership & Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for brand and cross-functional partners, ensuring alignment on content priorities and timing. Participate in brand planning and launch meetings to anticipate digital content needs.
  • Digital Shelf Strategy & Optimization: Develop and execute digital shelf optimization plans for assigned brands. Analyze retailer content scorecards and competitive benchmarks to identify improvement opportunities. Recommend prioritization of content enhancements based on performance impact.
  • System Proficiency & Data Integrity: Maintain product data and digital assets within McCormick's Global Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Product Information Management (PIM) systems (WIDEN and Salsify). Ensure metadata accuracy and enable automation where possible.
  • Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Analyze digital shelf performance metrics, translate performance insights into actionable business recommendations, and present findings to brand stakeholders and influence content prioritization. Identify process automation and workflow efficiency opportunities.
  • Partner with creative and technical teams to ensure timely delivery of images and rich content
  • Contribute to the development of digital content templates and governance standards
  • Participate in team meetings, share learnings, and contribute to building a culture of continuous improvement
  • Support Global Digital Enablement team and cross-functional partners on enterprise digital transformation projects

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, related field or a 2 year Associates Degree 
  • 4+ years of professional Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, or eCommerce experience
  • Demonstrated experience owning projects from strategy through execution
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with demonstrated cross-functional partnership.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Working knowledge of PIM, DAM, and CMS systems (experience with Salsify and WIDEN preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).

Base Salary: $63,250-$110,680 

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick's Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
