Job description

Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking an Regional Sales Representative for a top Chemical Manufacturing & Distribution client.

This is a high-growth opportunity for a driven "hunter" to manage and expand a large market across California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. The role focuses on winning new business and increasing "wallet share" within mid-sized to large existing accounts through a value-added selling process. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical knowledge of chemical applications and a proven ability to negotiate profitable solutions while building a robust, repeatable sales pipeline for consumable business.
Job Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and qualify new business growth through aggressive prospecting in a large market with significant market-share upside.
  • Account Management: Effectively build and manage long-term relationships with mid-sized and large accounts, focusing on retaining and expanding repeatable consumable business.
  • Territory Strategy: Create and maintain a viable territory plan to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets across the West Coast.
  • Strategic Selling: Accurately qualify competitive situations and align the best value proposition to win business against industry rivals.
  • Negotiation: Lead the negotiation of profitable solutions and complex pricing structures with customers to ensure healthy margins.
  • Relationship Travel: Travel extensively to current and prospective customer sites to develop face-to-face relationships and provide technical sales support.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline that supports consistent and profitable organizational growth.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum of two (2) or more years of successful industrial sales experience is REQUIRED.
  • Specific experience in the car wash chemicals industry, chemical distribution, or chemical application is mandatory.
  • Proven track record of expanding existing accounts and hitting aggressive sales quotas.
Skills
