Position Summary

The RIMAS ERP Analyst serves as a critical bridge between end users, technology systems, and business operations. This role requires a hands-on technical professional who is equally comfortable troubleshooting hardware at a customer site, configuring ERP workflows, and delivering exceptional customer service. The analyst supports, tests, and maintains the RIMAS ERP platform and all related technologies across multiple locations, requiring frequent travel to ensure on-site system reliability and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & End-User Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for ERP-related inquiries, providing timely, professional, and solution-oriented assistance
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with site personnel and stakeholders across all locations
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly and patiently to non-technical users
  • Deliver on-site and remote training to new and existing users on ERP functionality and best practices
  • Document support interactions and resolutions to drive continuous service improvement

ERP Technology & System Knowledge

  • Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of the RIMAS ERP platform, including modules, workflows, and integrations
  • Assist in configuring and optimizing ERP settings to align with operational requirements
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on updates, patches, and version upgrades
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of ERP configurations and procedures

PC & Peripheral Hardware Support

  • Set up, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, scanners, barcode readers, and other peripherals used with the ERP system
  • Perform hardware assessments, upgrades, and replacements at company and customer sites
  • Ensure all devices meet minimum specifications required for ERP platform performance
  • Manage IT equipment inventory and coordinate logistics for on-site deployments

Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution

  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to PC hardware, operating systems, network connectivity, ERP access, and peripheral devices
  • Perform root cause analysis on recurring problems and implement lasting fixes
  • Coordinate with network administrators, vendors, and other IT staff on complex or multi-system issues
  • Respond to critical system failures with urgency, including remote and on-site intervention as needed
  • Maintain a structured ticketing process to ensure all issues are tracked and resolved to user satisfaction

Monthly Modification Testing

  • Lead and participate in testing cycles for monthly ERP modifications, patches, and feature releases prior to production deployment
  • Develop and execute test scripts covering core business workflows and custom configurations
  • Document test results, identify defects, and coordinate resolution with development or vendor teams
  • Obtain stakeholder sign-off following successful testing cycles
  • Maintain a test environment that mirrors production conditions for accurate validation

Travel & On-Site Support

  • Travel to customer and company sites approximately 1–2 weeks per month as needed
  • Provide hands-on support, training, and system validation during site visits
  • Represent the organization professionally in all on-site interactions
  • Plan and coordinate travel logistics in alignment with project schedules and site needs

Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in ERP support, IT helpdesk, or a related technical role
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and business process workflows
  • Proficiency in PC hardware setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting printers, scanners, and other business peripherals
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 1–2 weeks per month

Preferred

  • Experience with RIMAS or similar ERP platforms
  • Familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, LAN/WAN)
  • Exposure to software testing methodologies and documentation practices
  • Experience delivering end-user training
  • Working knowledge of SQL and/or T-SQL, including the ability to write and interpret queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and reporting purposes
  • Experience with database management and query tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Azure Data Studio, Oracle SQL Developer, or similar environments
  • Ability to use SQL tooling to investigate data integrity issues, trace ERP transaction records, and support testing efforts at the database level

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position operates both in office environments and at customer/field sites. The analyst must be comfortable working in varied settings including warehouses, retail locations, and administrative offices. Some lifting of IT equipment may be required.
