Job Description
The ERP Analyst is a rare opportunity to learn on the job by shadowing an industry veteran. The ERP Analyst will be an integral member of the IT department as well as interface with multiple departments and key functions in the office. Reporting to the ERP Manager, this role will involve a set period of shadowing an established employee, working to transfer knowledge, document processes and consider improvement opportunities. At the end of the period, the analyst will step into a full role and will be responsible for providing ongoing technical and functional support. This position will be fully onsite.
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 DOE
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day application support for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, including incident management, problem resolution, and help desk ticket handling.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues across JDE modules (e.g., Financials, Distribution, Sales Order, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Accounts Payable/Receivable, General Ledger).
  • Coordinate between IT specialists and E1 user departments to design and implement changes to JD Edwards Enterprise One, and peripheral systems via integration.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for end-users, addressing inquiries, providing guidance, training users, and gathering requirements for fixes or improvements.
  • Manage support tickets: prioritize, track, escalate (e.g., to Level 3/technical teams or Oracle support), and ensure timely resolution within SLAs.
  • Support testing activities: develop/test scripts, perform regression testing for fixes/enhancements, and validate changes.
  • Document processes, issues/resolutions, system configurations, and user guides to build knowledge bases.
  • Collaborate with business teams, IT developers, CNC administrators, and external vendors to implement fixes, interfaces, or minor customizations.
  • Recommend improvements to application usage, configurations, or workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce recurring issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: 3-7+ years supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (versions 9.1, 9.2, or later) in a production support role; prior experience with JDE World or similar ERP systems is a plus.
  • Functional knowledge: Strong understanding of core JDE modules (e.g., Finance, Distribution, Contract Billing, Supply Chain, Banking) and business processes they support. Experience with process documentation, developing training materials and process improvement.
  • Technical skills: Advanced skills in JDE tools (OMW, Interactive/Batch Applications, UDCs, Processing Options, Versions); familiarity with security setup, data dictionary, and troubleshooting tools
  • Support tools: Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira), incident/problem management processes
  • Soft skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication (explaining technical issues to non-technical users), prioritization under pressure, and customer service orientation. Organized and able to work independently.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
