About the Job: 

Taco Bell is looking to hire an experienced Development Project Coordinator who is interested in joining a Category One development team reinventing the way Taco Bell builds, renovates, and maintains restaurants. This individual will be responsible for regional support for new, remodel, and maintenance projects in the US.  You must have a passion for providing world-class support for our development teams by collaboratively working across various teams while consistently modeling Taco Bell's unique Live Mas Culture.

The Development Project Coordinator will report to the Manager of Construction. This position is ideal for individuals with high accountability, strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a collaborative mentality.

The Day-to-Day: 

    Report project status and coordinate utility setups, bonds, and project-specific requirements, communicating with all stakeholders (i.e., Development, Operations, Marketing, Technology, Technicians contractors, distributors, franchisees, and vendors).
    Develop and send project notices, utilizing strong communication skills to correspond with city personnel, vendors, contractors, franchisees, and internal staff.
    Track project budgets and report changes, verify and approve invoices, and review construction project draws for approval; Resolve payment issues with vendors and manage reimbursable funds and allowances, ensuring compliance with Brand standards and approved plans.
    Monitor project timelines and report changes, scheduling and managing meetings at critical milestones through project completion; Oversee 3rd Party Vendor scheduling and coordination.
    Maintain project databases, manage the construction bid process, and handle contracts and documentation, ensuring legal compliance and timely closeouts with General Contractors.
    Oversee project tracking using SmartSheet, permit acquisition, financial tasks (including writing GELCO checks for permits and utilities), onboarding, vendor issue resolution, and documentation management, ensuring compliance with company policies and audit guidelines.

Is this you? 

    Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Construction, Real Estate, Architecture, Facilities or Development related field.
    2+ years of experience in construction coordination and/or project management
    Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Smartsheet, PowerPoint and love learning new computer skills.
    The ability to make project decisions on your own or with minimal direction.
    Phenomenal, organized multitasker who enjoys an exciting fast-paced environment.
    Great communicator (both written and oral)
