The In-N-Out Burger IT Project Management Office team has an excellent opportunity for an IT Project Coordinator, located in the Irvine, CA office*.
The IT Project Coordinator will report directly to the IT PMO Manager and help to coordinate and support smaller, internal IT projects, or assist on larger projects by managing tasks, facilitating communication, tracking progress, and working closely with technical teams to ensure projects meet timelines and customer needs.
*This role is based full-time in office*
General Responsibilities
• Manage smaller development projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and resource expectations throughout the lifecycle and in accordance with IT PMO standards.
• Apply Agile and Waterfall project management practices as appropriate, including supporting sprint planning, facilitating scrums, and maintaining sprint schedules in collaboration with development teams.
• Help facilitate regular project meetings by scheduling, taking notes, following up on action items, and sharing updates with project managers and other team members.
• Work closely with technical leads and cross-functional teams to surface and address project risks, issues, and scope changes, escalating when needed to support timely resolution.
• Prepare and maintain key project documentation-including Project Charters, Change Orders, RFI/RFPs, rollout materials, and training guides-in alignment with IT PMO tools and standards.
• Support project coordination across teams by maintaining documentation, action tracking, and effective communication through tools such as Jira, Asana, and Confluence.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO practices by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve tools, and enhance team coordination and delivery.
Work Schedule and Benefits

• Office Hours in Irvine, CA: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
• Department needs will call for occasional overtime

Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in project coordination or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of the project lifecycle, including timeline, scope, and resource management.
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies and practices.
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency with project management platforms (e.g. Asana, Jira).
• Basic proficiency with collaboration and communication tools (e.g. Microsoft Teams).
• Familiarity with internal systems (e.g. Palm, Dash, Associate Link, Arrow, and INO Reporting tools), preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong Customer Service skills

Qualifications for INO associates:
• In-N-Out Burger Store or Support Experience: 2+ years, required.
• Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
• Store leadership experience preferred (e.g., Shift Manager, Store Trainer, All Stars, etc.)
Work Location Details
In-N-Out Burger plans to bring its west coast headquarters team back together under one roof by the end of 2029. After maintaining two Southern California office locations for many years, the company will permanently close its Irvine office in 2029 and once again headquarter the company's western territory solely in Baldwin Park, California, where the company was founded in 1948.
Newly hired Associates in Irvine will be eligible to participate in the group move to Tennessee with relocation assistance or work from our western headquarters in Baldwin Park, CA, upon its opening in 2029. We are sharing this information early so candidates can make informed decisions while considering a career with In-N-Out Burger.
