Job Summary
A growing plumbing contractor in Corona, CA is seeking a Project Coordinator to support commercial plumbing projects from award through closeout. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for an organized construction administrative professional who enjoys keeping projects on track, coordinating with field teams, vendors, general contractors, and internal leadership, and ensuring documentation is accurate and complete.
The Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting operations, project management, procurement, billing, scheduling, and closeout activities. This is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, values teamwork, and wants to grow within a supportive company where strong follow-up, communication, and attention to detail are appreciated.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, maintain, and organize project documentation, including job folders, plans, contact lists, contracts, insurance records, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout files.
- Coordinate project schedules, milestones, deadlines, meetings, action items, inspections, procurement activities, and field readiness across underground, rough-in, and finish phases.
- Communicate with project managers, field teams, vendors, suppliers, general contractors, accounting, and leadership to support project execution and timely follow-through.
- Request and track vendor quotes, long-lead items, equipment rentals, delivery schedules, material requisitions, and procurement needs to help prevent project delays.
- Assist with monthly billing support, percent-complete verification, time and material documentation, pending change orders, budget tracking, and audit-ready project records.
- Support jobsite logistics, manpower coordination, safety documentation, site visits, punch list completion, and final closeout documentation, including warranties, as-builts, and O&M manuals.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $25 to $30 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Location: Corona, CA.
