Job description

TABER, the leading manufacturer of custom millwork, metalwork, and upholstery in Orange County, is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our growing team.


What you will do:

  • Support Project Managers with day-to-day execution across preconstruction, construction, and closeout phases
  • Prepare and manage submittals, RFIs, shop drawing coordination, and procurement tracking
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Field teams
  • Track project schedules, deliveries, and install readiness to keep timelines on track
  • Manage subcontractor scope across stone tops, seating, and metal work


What we're looking for:

  • 1-2 years of experience in construction, millwork, or a related field (preferred but not required)
  • Familiarity with submittals, RFIs, or project coordination workflows
  • Exceptional organizational skills and clear, proactive communication
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Comfortable working with Bluebeam, Procore (or similar platform), and Excel
  • High attention to detail, especially with respect to finish quality and sequencing
