The IT Project Manager ensures initiatives are executed with clarity, accountability, and measurable outcomes aligned to enterprise strategy.

This position plays a critical role in enabling large-scale technology transformation by bringing order, predictability, and structured governance to enterprise initiatives.

Responsibilities:

What youโ€™ll be doing:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, timelines, milestones, resource plans, and budgets
  • Define governance structures and communication plans
  • Ensure clear documentation of objectives, deliverables, dependencies, and success criteria
  • Maintain alignment between business objectives and technical execution

2. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate efforts across Product, Development, Infrastructure & Operations, Security, Finance, and external partners
  • Facilitate structured working sessions, steering committees, and status reviews
  • Drive accountability for task completion and milestone achievement
  • Identify, sequence, and actively manage cross-team dependencies
  • Serve as the central point of coordination for large, multi-stream initiatives

3. Risk, Issue & Change Management

  • Proactively identify and manage project risks
  • Maintain structured risk and issue logs
  • Drive mitigation planning and escalate when necessary
  • Ensure scope changes are documented, evaluated, and approved through governance processes
  • Prevent uncontrolled scope expansion and delivery drift

4. Financial & Resource Oversight

  • Track project budgets and forecast variances
  • Monitor resource allocation and capacity constraints
  • Partner with Finance and leadership to maintain fiscal discipline
  • Provide visibility into cost impacts associated with scope or timeline changes

5. Executive Communication & Reporting

  • Provide structured, transparent reporting to executive stakeholders
  • Prepare and present status updates, milestone reports, and risk summaries
  • Escalate issues early with recommended mitigation strategies
  • Ensure leadership has accurate visibility into project health, dependencies, and outcomes

6. Governance & Process Discipline

  • Apply project management best practices aligned to PMBOK or comparable frameworks
  • Adapt methodology (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) based on project needs
  • Ensure project artifacts are complete, documented, and auditable
  • Promote consistency and repeatability across initiatives
  • Support post-implementation reviews and lessons learned

7. Project Governance & Portfolio Visibility

  • Establish and maintain standardized project management practices across IT
  • Define templates, reporting formats, and documentation standards
  • Ensure consistent use of project plans, risk logs, and status reporting
  • Provide portfolio-level visibility across active initiatives
  • Identify resource conflicts and cross-project dependencies
  • Support leadership in prioritization decisions based on capacity, risk, and strategic impact
  • Continuously refine project governance processes to improve predictability and transparency

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional IT transformation initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience operating without a formal PMO and establishing project governance practices
  • Experience delivering complex technology programs involving multiple stakeholders and dependencies
  • Experience in e-commerce or digital platform environments preferred
  • Working knowledge of PMBOK or comparable project management frameworks
  • PMP certification preferred but not required
  • Strong understanding of risk management, financial tracking, and governance processes
  • Experience operating in matrixed organizations

Additional Requirements:

  • Structured Planning & Organization
  • Risk Management Discipline
  • Executive Communication
  • Cross-Functional Influence
  • Financial Acumen
  • Governance Mindset
  • Adaptability in Complex Environments
  • Accountability & Follow-Through
  • Calm Leadership Under Pressure

Why Join Us:

  • Innovative Environment: Be part of a forward-thinking company that values innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Career Growth: Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
  • Inclusive Culture: Work in a diverse and inclusive environment where every team member is valued.
