Job description

If you thrive in fast-paced, high-activity sales environments and enjoy building momentum from the very first conversation, this role is built for you.
Ridezilla Americus / Boater's World South Georgia is seeking a driven Consignment Sales Consultant whose primary focus is bringing boats and units into the dealership - not standing on the showroom floor waiting for walk-in buyers. This is a proactive, outbound-driven role centered around outreach, follow-up, and relationship building with owners who are looking to sell.
This is not a passive sales position. Success in this role comes from energy, persistence, organization, and the ability to manage a large pipeline of conversations at once. If you enjoy making calls, working leads, following up consistently, and keeping deals moving forward - you'll thrive here.
Why This Role Stands Out
  • High-activity, outbound sales role ideal for candidates from outside sales, inside sales, hospitality, call center, or collections backgrounds
  • Commission-driven earning opportunity with strong upside
  • Focused on sourcing and securing inventory - a critical function of the dealership
  • Constant flow of conversations with sellers and buyers - no two days look the same
  • Support from an established dealership with strong regional recognition and year-round inventory demand
  • Clear expectations, structured process, and a team that supports execution

What You'll Be Doing
Seller Outreach & Consignment Acquisition
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners interested in consigning their boats, trailers, powersports units, or marine equipment
  • Proactively reach out to prospective sellers through outbound calls, email follow-ups, inbound leads, and in-person conversations
  • Clearly explain the consignment process, pricing strategy, timelines, and expectations
  • Build urgency, maintain momentum, and move sellers from interest to signed consignment agreements
  • Manage a high-volume pipeline of seller conversations and opportunities

Deal Management & Pipeline Execution
  • Track and manage leads from first contact through intake and sale
  • Maintain consistent follow-up to prevent deals from stalling
  • Coordinate closely with internal sales and management teams to align on pricing and strategy
  • Assist buyers and sellers through the transaction process once inventory is onboarded

Inventory Coordination & Organization
  • Evaluate incoming consignment units and assist with pricing, condition notes, and market positioning
  • Ensure inventory details are accurate, complete, and entered correctly into dealership systems
  • Monitor inventory status and maintain strong organization across multiple active listings

Customer Experience & Administrative Accuracy
  • Deliver a professional, responsive experience to sellers and buyers
  • Answer questions confidently and resolve issues quickly
  • Ensure all documentation, contracts, and records are completed accurately and in compliance with dealership standards

Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with sales, service, and leadership teams to support dealership growth goals
  • Contribute to a high-energy, team-driven environment where activity and execution matter

Requirements
  • Background in high-volume sales, inside sales, outside sales, hospitality, call centers, collections, or commission-based roles
  • Comfortable with outbound outreach, follow-ups, and pipeline management
  • Marine, automotive, RV, equipment, or consignment experience is a plus - but not required

Skills & Traits
  • High energy, motivated, and comfortable making frequent outbound calls
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deals at once
  • Confident working toward goals and commissions
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, inventory tools, and Microsoft Office
  • Self-starter with urgency, accountability, and follow-through

Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field is a plus
