Job description

Our client is a large boutique, trial powerhouse law firm in San Francisco. The firm has a unique culture that embodies accountability, flexibility, collaboration, and diversity while promoting personal and professional growth.


They seek a Conflicts Analyst to support risk management and new business intake by conducting conflict checks for new matters and lateral hires. This role involves analyzing potential conflicts, assisting with resolutions, and supporting matter openings and related administrative tasks.


Hybrid schedule is a flexible 3 days in office and 2 days remote.


Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and summarize conflict reports; identify and assess potential or actual conflicts.
  • Conduct research on client matters, entities, and affiliations to support conflict resolution.
  • Advise attorneys on conflicts clearance, documenting and auditing the process.
  • Maintain and update conflicts databases, including entering and closing case information.
  • Handle conflict checks for new hires and respond to conflicts inquiries in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of law firm conflicts experience with strong knowledge of legal conflicts and ethical rules.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Intapp, LegalKey, or Elite is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently.

Salary: Up to 100K, can be flexible depending on experience.
