Contracts Analyst/PM Specialist - Mid
This position requires an active Top-Secret clearance to start (TS)
A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.
The Contracts Analyst supports the Threat Systems Management Office (TSMO) Contract Management Team (CMT) by assisting with the development, review, and administration of contract requirements and documentation. This role serves as a key liaison between Project Directors, SETAs, the Financial Management Team, and Army Contracting Commands (ACC-Redstone and ACC-Orlando). The analyst ensures contract packages are accurate, compliant with federal acquisition regulations, and properly documented throughout the contract lifecycle. This position requires strong attention to detail, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders in a secure and fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Contracts Analyst - Mid: $100,000 - $110,000
Pay commensurate with experience.

Contracts Analyst - Mid Responsibilities Include:
  • Support development and review of Contract Requirements Packages (CRPs), including Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWS), acquisition plans, and acquisition strategies
  • Ensure contract documentation complies with FAR, DFARS, AFARS, and applicable Army and organizational policies
  • Assist in preparing and processing contract modification packages, including Justifications & Approvals (J&As) and scope changes
  • Coordinate contract actions with technical Points of Contact (POCs), Army Contracting Commands (ACC), and Financial Management teams
  • Review, analyze, and provide feedback on CRPs and supporting documentation
  • Maintain and manage contract records, files, and databases to ensure accuracy and audit readiness
  • Upload and track contract data within designated contracting systems
  • Support documentation of contract performance and compliance activities
  • Assist with managing secure/classified contract documentation in accordance with applicable requirements
  • Facilitate communication across stakeholders to support timely contract execution and issue resolution
  • This position requires an active Top-Secret clearance to start (TS)
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Contracts Analyst Mid Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Contract Management, Acquisition, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience supporting federal contracting or acquisition activities
  • Experience developing and reviewing CRPs, including SOWs, PWS, acquisition plans, and strategies
  • Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and AFARS regulations
  • Experience supporting contract modifications, including J&As and scope changes
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders (technical, contracting, and financial teams)
  • Experience ensuring contract compliance and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to analyze and provide feedback on contract documentation
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with Army Contracting Command (ACC) processes and procedures
  • Experience working in secure or classified contract environments
  • Knowledge of contract lifecycle management and audit readiness practices
  • Experience with contract tracking systems or databases
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • This position requires an active Top-Secret clearance to start (TS)
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
