Desktop Support specialist

Full Time/ 40 hours

Pay $23.00 / Hourly

People Incorporated is looking for a dynamic individual to join our IT team as a Desktop Support Specialist. This position is responsible for providing information technology support to the Agency.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Coordinate the installation of new computers and peripherals.
  • Replace desktop hardware as needed as well as basic laptop hardware.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and printer issues.
  • Remove virus, spyware, and malware as needed.
  • Install all software and hardware as required.
  • Restore Windows software.
  • Domain, Email & Intranet user setup and maintenance.
  • Set up equipment for special events.
  • Monitor and complete Agency IT Requests.
  • Responsible for moving equipment as necessary.
  • Maintain and run Network cabling as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skill in office functions including but not limited to computer operations.
  • Skill in organization, prioritization, and working independently.
  • Skill in communicating and working with others cooperatively
  • A driver's license as well as a qualifying criminal background check and driving record
