Come join Powerex, an industry leading provider of oil free compressed air and vacuum technology, where engineering excellence, innovation, and customer impact drive everything we do.
WHO WE ARE:
Powerex is an industry leader who designs and builds oil free compressed air and vacuum systems used in environments where performance matters most, from hospitals and laboratories to transit systems, and advanced manufacturing operations. Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Currently pursuing a BS/BA degree (Engineering, Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred)
  • Interest in technical or consultative sales and engineering-driven products
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with engineers, contractors, and customers
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; CRM exposure is a plus
  • Technical curiosity - experience or coursework related to engineering systems is beneficial but not required
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

Travel Exposure

Co-op students will have opportunities to travel with experienced sales professionals to:

  • Visit hospitals, laboratories, and industrial facilities
  • Meet consulting engineers and contractors
  • Participate in customer training events
  • Observe how technical solutions are evaluated and specified

Travel expenses are fully covered.

  • Hands-on mentorship from experienced sales and engineering professionals
  • Develop professional presentation and customer-facing communication skills
  • Exposure to healthcare, laboratory, and industrial markets
  • Experience working with distributors, contractors, consulting engineers, and facility owners
  • Explore a career path that combines technical sales with an engineering skill set.
  • Many successful co-op students are considered for future co-op rotations or full-time opportunities with Powerex upon graduation.

Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.

We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
