Job description

Forklift Operator (Turret Operator)
???? Fall River, MA
???? Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

D2G Group is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our Distribution Center team in Fall River, MA. This role will primarily focus on operating a turret truck to replenish inventory, ensuring products are accurately stored and available to support order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working at high elevations, operating material handling equipment throughout the day, and contributing to a fast-paced warehouse environment.

What You'll Do
  • Operate a turret truck daily to replenish inventory and move product throughout the warehouse

  • Perform put-away, replenishment, picking, loading, unloading, and other warehouse functions as needed

  • Safely operate forklifts, order pickers, and other material handling equipment

  • Complete daily equipment safety inspections prior to use

  • Handle inventory accurately using RF scanners (PDA devices) and the Warehouse Management System (WMS)

  • Pick and store products at high elevations within warehouse racking systems

  • Wrap and load customer orders for shipment as needed

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper product handling and movement

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures and identify potential hazards

  • Cross-train in multiple warehouse functions to support operational needs

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous forklift experience required

  • Experience operating a turret truck strongly preferred

  • Comfortable working at heights and navigating narrow aisle warehouse environments

  • Basic computer skills and experience using RF scanners or warehouse systems

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

  • Ability to read and follow instructions accurately

  • Basic math skills including addition and subtraction

  • Ability to work independently and meet productivity goals

Physical Requirements
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 40 lbs. unassisted

  • Team lifting of items weighing more than 40 lbs. when required

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, push, and pull throughout an 8-hour shift

  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment for extended periods
