SUMMER 2027


Shure offers a challenging, fun, and rewarding summer internship program. The twelve-week program is offered to undergraduate and graduate students. We offer internships with a variety of work arrangements from onsite interns to fully remote in US. Each intern will receive a competitive salary. Additionally, Interns who are asked to relocate to Illinois for onsite internships will receive a housing stipend to cover living expenses. Applications will be collected, reviewed, and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter.


As the Cloud DevOps Engineer Intern, you will work directly with the DevOps team and members of the Cloud development teams to implement and improve our CI/CD pipelines. You will brainstorm new ideas and implement solutions to improve and automate delivery of products deployed to the Cloud.


This Internship is Onsite in Niles, IL.


  • Design and implement improvements to scripts and tools in our CI/CD product pipelines
  • Verify pipelines are working correctly in all scenarios and handle adverse conditions in a robust manor.
  • Assist in developing capabilities and improvements into our pipelines across product teams and consult with development teams for feedback during deployment
  • Assist in creation of observability dashboards for code pipeline and application monitoring

  • Minimum two years of course work in Computer Science or related field
  • Programming experience working with various languages – i.e. python, perl, C/C++, Java, C#, .Net, shell scripting etc.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as code – i.e. AWS CloudFormation, Ansible is a plus
  • Knowledge of cloud services is a plus
  • Knowledge of APIs a plus
  • Knowledge of software automation and/or OS administration is a plus
  • Computer networking knowledge is a plus
