Description
Job Title: IT Intern
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week required (hourly)
Travel: 35%
POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Intern will support the IT department by assisting in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and networks. This position will provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Additionally, this position will help maintain and update IT documentation, including user guides and system configurations. Collaboration is key in this role, as this position will work closely with team members to ensure efficient and effective IT operations. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the IT infrastructure, this position will rotate through various IT teams, including Networking, Systems, Remote Support, and Field Support. This rotation will provide valuable hands-on experience and exposure to different aspects of IT support and management.
Essential Functions Statement(s)
  • Regular attendance at work is required.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and networks.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Help maintain and update IT documentation, including user guides and system configurations.
  • Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
  • Assist with inventory management of IT assets and equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective IT operations.
  • Rotate through various IT teams to, including Networking, Systems, Remote Support, and Field Support.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Experience: Six months to one-year related experience preferred.
Computer Skills: Use of electronic medical record and other information technology is preferred
