Job Details:

This role requires the selected candidate to work in office at Tyson Foods’ Springdale, AR World Headquarters and must live within a commutable range of the office year-round to be considered.

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing support to Case Ready Beef and Pork Production Planning Team Members.  Work will focus primarily on supply chain management such as production scheduling, inventory management of raw material and finished goods and transportation and logistics. Position may include involvement with the following: Project Development Management; inventory analysis; learning and managing data systems and reports as assigned by the supervisor; directly managing the outcome of specific projects as assigned by the supervisor; acting daily as a contributing member to the assigned Case Ready Beef and Pork team, to the division, and to Tyson Foods, Inc. Based on initiative, this position offers the potential for exposure to supply chain management systems, sales analysis and a financial perspective, networking with marketing teams, sales, production, customer service, large corporate environment, enhancement of computer skills and promotional agency. 


Education: Incoming junior preferred or senior, or MBA with at least one year of school remaining.  Business, Supply Chain, or Animal Science majors preferred.

Experience: Previous work experience in any field. 

Computer Skills: Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Excel and familiarity with Access Word and PowerPoint.

Supervisory: None 

Special Skills: Ability to multitask; motivated self-starter.

Location: Must live within 60 miles of the facility.
 

Please Note: This role is a year-round opportunity that requires the selected candidate to work 15 – 20 hours per week during the school year, and as many as 40 hours per week during the summer. This role also requires the selected candidate to work in office at Tyson Foods’ Springdale, AR World Headquarters.
