Job Summary: Our company is seeking a highly skilled Computing Infrastructure Hardware Integration Technician with experience in assembling mechanical assemblies, handling rack-based computing equipment such as servers, switches, routers, and firewalls, and experience in cabling, cable management, and following and producing technical procedures and assembly aids.
Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and integrate mechanical assemblies for rack-based computing equipment
  • Handle rack-based computing equipment such as servers, switches, routers, and firewalls
  • Install, route, and label cables for proper cable management
  • Follow technical procedures and assembly aids for equipment installation and testing
  • Identify and resolve hardware and software issues related to computing infrastructure
  • Test and validate hardware components and software applications
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure project goals and objectives are met
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to end-users as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, installations, and maintenance activities
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in assembling mechanical assemblies and handling rack-based computing equipment
  • Experience in cabling and cable management
  • Ability to read and follow technical procedures and assembly aids
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
