Job Summary:
Ryan Consulting Group, P.A. is seeking a Hardware Support Technician to manage mobile devices and accessories for customers. The role involves staging, shipping, and restoring devices, as well as managing inventory and support tickets.
Responsibilities:
• Staging hardware devices by uploading & configuring software, including, but not limited to, wireless and other mobility application activations.
• Organizing and assembling hardware accessories
• Processing devices for shipment or delivery to customers
• Interfacing with customers and partners
• Product issue(s) diagnosis and resolution
• Support-ticket management
• Packing, packaging, shipping, and receiving
• Organizing and managing a constant flow of inventory
• Repair Mobile devices
• Closely follow established procedures and protocols
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be able to follow specific instructions, with attention to detail; must be conscientious
• Must possess written communication skills
• Must have excellent listening and verbal communication skills
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills
• Must have the ability to interact with all levels within the organization
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word Doc, Excel, Outlook)
• Depot Specialist
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move materials ranging from 5 to more than 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
• Must have exceptionally fine motor skills, with keen attention to detail, and with the ability to identify and address potential hardware problems.
Preferred:
• one or more years of experience in a supply chain and/or warehouse environment, or in electronics (particularly mobile device setup or repair), a plus
