Job description

Junior PC / IT Hardware  Repair Technician

Full time position is now open at our Whippany, NJ location for a PC, laptop, tablet, iPad repair technician. 

Duties:

  • Diagnose, disassemble and repair IT devices in our in-house lab. ( No customer On Site repairs )

Test and repair notebooks, laptops, Chromebooks,  iPhones, iPad tablets, and other PC devices.

Perform PC Windows type upgrades.  Windows 7, 8, 10

Test device performance and functionality for correct performance.

Repair experience for one or more of the following: Apple iPads, iPhone & iPods, Laptops, PCs, Samsung Galaxy, and Nexus phones

Experience with Windows operating system / Loading and upgradingPC / Desktop / Notebook basic testing and upgrading

Excellent communication skills and organizational abilities

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Strong in problem solving

Ability to seize initiative and take responsibility

Ability to work individually and as part of a team

Willingness to learn and grow in this position as well as help make the technical team stronger.

Candidates must be self-motivated, and personable

Reliable and on-time

Able to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language with reasonable proficiency

Good time management and multitasking skills and an ability to work under tight deadlines.
