Job description

Global American is an Embedded Hardware Integrator located in Hudson, NH. We have been in business for 32 years and are specialists in building long-life Computer Hardware for the Medical, Industrial, Government, Oil and Gas, and Defense industries.

We are currently seeking a Hardware Technician who can fulfill some basic building on the floor but also take on more senior tasks like pre- and post- sales support, interacting with vendors and customers, and managing product on our website.

  • Some days you'll spend 8am-5pm building and testing PCs, other days you'll be meeting with and interacting with customers or answering questions about COM ports and power inputs.
  • You must be a hands-on professional who likes to do a little bit of everything, and isn't thrown when you're pulled in a two different directions. We juggle a lot of balls here, and expect you to do the same.
  • We aren't looking for a computer hobbyist. You must LOVE computer hardware and consider it your passion.
  • Did you build your first PC when you were in Elementary School? YES! Do you like to read Anandtech and Tom's Hardware in your spare time? Yes! But that's not enough. You must also be hard working with an impeccable work ethic. We're a small group, so if you can't pull your own weight, it will be immediately obvious.
  • While we don't require a college degree, it is preferred. A+ certification would also be a big plus. Knowledge of Microsoft O/S and LINUX required.

If you like a challenge, want to make a career out of something you love, and want to work someplace that will reward your hard work, send your resume please. We offer medical/dental, life insurance, retirement plan, competitive compensation and a fun environment. We look forward to meeting you.
