Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to work on the owner's side for a top pharmaceutical company in Westchester, NY. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing electrical design, construction, and delivery of construction projects on a multi-billion dollar expansion program.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review and provide input on electrical design documents, specifications, and drawings prepared by consultants.
  • Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications related to electrical work.
  • Monitor progress of electrical scope during construction to verify quality, adherence to design intent, and code compliance.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and utility providers to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5 - 20 years of electrical design and/or construction experience (preferably within Pharma, Bio- Pharma, Life Science, Healthcare, or related industry)
  • New York State Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred, NOT-required
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage numerous tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Salary: $140,000-$190,000
