Role: Governance Compliance Product Manager
Location : Lehi UT or San Jose CA or ( Hybrid )
Type: Contract
What you will do:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regulatory strategy for data governance, ensuring alignment with our partners in Privacy, Legal, and Security
  • Stay informed about evolving data protection regulations and provide guidance on their implications for data governance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, privacy, engineering, and legal, to define and prioritize compliance-related features in data governance products.
  • Drive the development of innovative solutions that enhance data governance practices while ensuring compliance.
  • Create and maintain a compliance roadmap for data governance products, outlining key milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Ensure that product development aligns with regulatory timelines and requirements.
  • Work closely with legal, security, privacy, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to understand compliance requirements and translate them into actionable product initiatives.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering collaboration and clear communication.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation related to compliance features within data governance products.
  • Generate reports for internal and external stakeholders, providing insights into compliance adherence and product effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with training teams to develop user education materials related to compliance features within data governance tools.
  • Provide support and guidance to internal teams and customers regarding compliance inquiries within the data governance context.

What you will need to succeed:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Compliance, Legal).
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on compliance, within a data-centric or regulated industry.
  • Deep understanding of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry standards relevant to data governance.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to facilitate cross-functional teamwork.
