Job description

Job Overview
The Recruitment Intern will support the recruitment function by managing human resources (HR)-related projects, scheduling interviews for hiring leaders and candidates, and completing administrative functions within the department, all while receiving support and mentorship in core aspects of recruitment and human resources. This internship provides valuable experience in Talent Management operations and navigating today's digital workforce.
We are seeking an intern to support our team during the school year for at least 16 hours per week. This role will primarily be remote, but needs to be local to the Minneapolis/St. Paul area as it will require occasional onsite attendance for team events, job fairs, and other activities.
Job Expectations
  • Provide effective candidate screening, including phone interviews, note-taking, and sharing recommendations in collaboration with Recruitment Specialists.
  • Support Recruitment Specialists and hiring leaders by coordinating interviews, confirmations, and logistics.
  • Communicate professionally and provide support to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service with a focus on creating a positive candidate experience and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate HR and recruitment-related projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Current student or recent college graduate.
  • Must be majoring in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of employment concepts, laws, and regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in an environment with competing priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail, follow-up, and follow-through.
  • Exceptional communication skills and professional presence.
  • Strong problem-solving, process improvement, and troubleshooting skills.
