Job description

OVERVIEW

Job Title: Student Intern

Locations: St Paul Campus

Pay Rate: $17.00/Hour

Hours: TBD

JOB SUMMARY 

Assist in preparing various reconciliations, reports, surveys and other projects as assigned. Perform verification of new vendors. Prepare monthly accounting journal entries and other analysis. Scanning documents, filing and data entry.

QUALIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate student majoring in Accounting.
  • Minimum requirement: successful completion of Intro to Financial Accounting.
  • Must be detail-oriented and self-directed with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational skills required and willingness to ask questions.
  • Must be sensitive to confidential matters.
  • Experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

To be eligible for student employment, St. Thomas students must be degree seeking at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels.
