Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring Community Care Advocates in Rochester, New York! This role is in person/on site. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration.

Type: Contract, opportunity for full-time offer!

Available Shifts: Full-time days and overnights, part time overnights

Pay: $17.00 to $22.50 an hour, based on experience and shift

Role Overview:

· Hands-on roles which focus heavily on providing companionship and emotional support (conversation, shared hobbies, reading)

· Support leisure pursuits, phone calls, engagement/socialization, getting outside & other places.

· Light housekeeping (dusting, vacuuming, laundry)

· Follow activity enrichment calendar for scheduled programs

· The ideal candidate would have no problems meeting the scheduling requirements.

· In addition, candidates should be comfortable working closely with elderly patients and patients with dementia.

· Strong organizational skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude will be a good fit for these positions.

· Individuals with Home Healthcare experience or CNA experience are encouraged to apply.

Requirements Include:

· HS Diploma or GED

· 2 years of experience working with the elderly

· Experience caring for those with Alzheimer’s and memory care is a plus

· Home Health background preferred
