Job Overview:

 The Community Service Officer is responsible for monitoring adherence to the Poinciana Covenants and responds to requests for assistance with the area. On the property of the Homeowners Association of Poinciana Villages, the officer operates a marked property vehicle and monitors adherence to compliance. 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and enforcing the Poinciana Subdivision Declaration, Design Control Board Criteria and Master Signage Criteria
  • At all times while on duty conducts himself/herself in a professional manner. This applies to appearance, speech, manner and actions.
  • At the beginning of each shift, check the vehicles and equipment to be used on shift (correcting any deficiencies and reporting any item that requires supervisory attention).
  • Conduct all Community Service Officer Operations in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures of the department and Personnel policies of the A.P.V.
  • Submit legible, concise reports as required.
  • Operate the vehicle in accordance with the Motor Vehicle Laws of the State of Florida at all times.
  • Observe all Federal, State, County laws.
  • Perform such additional duties and responsibilities as may be required by the needs of the department, the company and the Poinciana community.
  • Monitor all building and/or residential construction sites for adherence to Criteria.
  • Monitoring and enforcing the Poinciana Subdivision Declaration, Design Control Board Criteria and Master Signage Criteria

Skills & Qualifications: 

 

  •    Be eligible to work in the United States.
  •    Possess high school diploma or a GED equivalent.
  • Must have at least a valid Florida Class “E” Driver License and must have a clean Motor Vehicle    Record.
  • Have a working knowledge of the English language to include the ability to speak over the radio without comprehension difficulty by the other party and to complete written reports of a technical nature.
  • Possess solid communication and public relations skills.
  • Be able to type accurately at a rate of 20wpm.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

 Additional Information 

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm, 40 hours per week

Compensation: $16.00 Hourly
