We’re seeking a Community Relations Representative to join our growing team.

The Community Relations Representative is responsible for building strong relationships with dentists, community organizations, and local influencers to drive referrals to our orthodontic offices.

How you’ll make us better:

  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with local dentists, dental offices, healthcare professionals, schools, churches, government agencies, and community businesses to foster a robust referral network for our practices
  • Collaborate with clinic teams to drive referrals and new patient exams to directly impact net production revenue, supporting the overall growth of the practice while primarily targeting dental referrals
  • Partner with the Regional Manager of Sales and Marketing to create and implement marketing strategies (including social media campaigns) that focus on driving patient referrals from local dental offices, schools, and community organizations
  • Develop, manage, and track local marketing budgets for each team/location while holding teams accountable for their monthly spend
  • Host joint events and co-marketing initiatives with local organizations to increase visibility and referrals
  • Participate in community events, health fairs, school programs, and local initiatives to boost brand awareness and build connections with potential referring partners and community members
  • Support clinics with grand openings, special events, and other promotional activities to strengthen ties with the community and attract new patients
  • Manage local marketing campaigns with a focus on referral growth, tracking effectiveness and making data-driven adjustments to ensure success
  • Monitor competitive trends in the local market, particularly in dentistry and community outreach, to keep our referral network thriving
  • Input and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of referral activity, community engagement, and event participation in the CRM system
  • Regularly track and report on individual performance metrics, including referrals and new patient exams, to ensure alignment with goals
  • Assist clinics with marketing materials and promotional needs, ensuring they have the necessary branded items and advertising to create awareness in our local markets
  • Distribute branded merchandise and manage inventory for maximum impact during community and professional events

Prerequisites for success:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • External:  One (1) year of experience in business-to-business sales, direct to consumer sales, field marketing, or a related field, with an emphasis on relationship-building and referral generation management required
  • Internal:  Six (6) months with Smile Doctors or affiliated practice
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Intermediate knowledge of sales or business management software
