Job description

The Donated Goods Manager supports store leadership in managing merchandise processing and daily retail operations, ensuring policies, procedures, and operational standards are consistently executed. Working closely with the Store Manager, you will drive operational efficiency, oversee staff performance, and help maintain a productive, customer-focused environment that delivers a high-quality shopping experience.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is committed to both team development and operational excellence.

Compensation:

$47,300


Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze sales, payroll, and operational expenses to meet financial goals while maintaining cost control and profitability
  • Oversee and supervise all operational processes within the store, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities and efficient workflow across all departments
  • Communicate any operational issues, challenges, or observations to the Store Manager and District Manager, providing insight and recommendations for corrective actions or improvements, and collaborate to develop and implement action plans to resolve issues
  • Recruit, hire, train, and manage staff while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, holding team members accountable for performance and conduct
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment by enforcing safety standards and actively preventing internal theft and shoplifting

Qualifications:
  • Strong communicator able to clearly present information and collaborate across teams
  • Experience managing production operations in fast-paced settings, with a focus on system improvement and efficiency
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Detail-oriented, with experience tracking performance metrics, implementing systems, and maintaining operational efficiency
  • Effective leader who motivates teams, promotes accountability, and drives continuous improvement
