Responsibilities
Director of Community Relations Essential Functions
  • The Director of Community Relations will handle and implement employee, public relations and community initiatives.
  • Perpetuate the facility's high visibility in the community to project an image as a senior care resource.
  • Work with TLC on advertising and media plans.
  • Stay aware of the competition and coordinating the marketing plan in conjunction with the Administrator/Executive Director as well as TLC Marketing team.
  • Develop new markets outside of local area
  • Develop new Community customer/marketing referrals sources
  • Seek opportunities to bring clubs, community leaders to facility for tours, open houses or special events.
  • Look for opportunities to be a community leader as a board member, attendee etc. while representing facility.
  • Educate referral sources such as discharge planners, social workers, physician, other local health providers and retirement communities of the services/programs offered.
  • Follow up on all inquiries to answer further questions regarding community features and amenities.
  • Coordinate all move-ins with the sales team to assure community is prepared for their arrival.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all residents and their care to ensure resident rights, privacy and property are protected at all times.
  • All other duties as assigned
