Job description

We are seeking a passionate, organized, and community-focused Community Program Director to lead the development, coordination, and growth of programs that make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families in our community.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader and relationship-builder who can turn community needs into effective programs, engage volunteers and partners, and ensure our services are delivered with compassion, professionalism, and measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and evaluate community programs and initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with community members, nonprofit organizations, schools, businesses, and other partners.
  • Coordinate staff, volunteers, events, workshops, and community activities.
  • Identify community needs and develop programs that address those needs.
  • Manage program budgets, schedules, resources, and reporting requirements.
  • Recruit, train, and support volunteers and program staff.
  • Promote programs through community outreach, social media, partnerships, and events.
  • Track program participation, outcomes, and impact.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations for organizational leadership.
  • Ensure programs operate in accordance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
  • Represent the organization at community meetings, events, and partnership opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in community programs, nonprofit leadership, social services, outreach, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and community partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs and priorities effectively.
  • Experience supervising staff or volunteers is preferred.
  • Strong computer and administrative skills.
  • Passion for serving the community and creating positive change.


Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 5:30pm

Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
