Job description

Soul Saving Station Shelter is seeking a compassionate, organized, and community-minded Community Program Coordinator to support daily operations, resident programming, outreach efforts, and administrative coordination.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping others, highly organized, and excited to build strong community relationships while supporting meaningful programs that positively impact residents.

The Community Program Coordinator plays an important role in organizing schedules, coordinating events, connecting with local businesses and organizations, and helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate daily resident schedules, appointments, and program calendars
  • Organize events, activities, and community engagement opportunities for residents
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and donation partners
  • Coordinate outreach efforts for donations, support initiatives, and special events
  • Assist with planning and executing resident programs and activities
  • Support internal staff scheduling, meetings, and administrative coordination
  • Track incident reporting and maintain accurate program documentation
  • Assist with property issue reporting and operational follow-up
  • Help support a safe, organized, and positive environment for residents
  • Respond appropriately during emergencies and document incidents as needed
